A Roman-style privileged class?
The cynic in me views Clinton's statement over the weekend that TSA policies will be reviewed as yet another step towards a privileged flying class. High-ranking officials of the state do not go through regular airport security. Pilots have been agitating - and it looks like they'll get - a special pass to avoid scanners and frisks. ReplyDelete...[A]s I once heard an ex-Republican congressman advocate, many fascisti want the airlines nationalized and travel restricted to officials, big businessmen, media stooges, and other corporate state types. All in the name of public safety, of course.
Given that as background, Hitlery's statement and the actions of the TSA make perfect sense.
